Jiminy’s Mountain Coaster is the only one of it’s kind on the East Coast. Popular in Europe, the Coaster is thousands of feet of twisting, turning fun through the woods! You control your speed so you may take a leisurely ride or get your thrills at speeds up to 23 mph.

The Country Store at Jiminy Peak
The Country Store at Jiminy Peak is a post and beam building located next to the Administration building on Corey Road, just a short walk from the Country Inn. The Country Store offers general store items as well as wine, beer and liquor, prepared meals and sandwiches, coffee, games, souvenirs, newspapers, magazines and more. In addition, the eclectic selection of fine and unique products, whether teas, maple syrup, shortbread cookies or pasta, will reflect that of the original Store at Five Corners. The Country Store is also the Post Office for the town of Hancock.
The Country Store at Jiminy Peak is open daily from 7:30am to 7:00pm. (9pm on Fridays)

We will have WebCam Scavenger Hunt and some fun puzzles. Each week there will be a new Cam pic to try to identify, and also new puzzles. Each correct response will receive an e-coupon valid for a buy one – get one free Alpine Slide ride!
Wordsearch with a twist

Shaun Thornton Memorial Bike Race, Saturday May 3
The Jiminy Peak Road Race has become a spring classic in New England. It regularly draws racers from all over the Northeast, including professionals and amateurs from some of America’s top teams. The 14th annual Kenda Bike Fest, presented by DIRT RAG will be held July 25th-27th, 2008 Set in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains, this non-competitive cycling festival offers three days of camping and outdoor activities for cyclists of all ages, skill levels and styles. SNOWTUBING AT SNOWY OWL
Come see our snow tubing area at Snowy Owl!
The carpet lift will whisk you to the top of the hill where you can choose from up to 6 lanes for the ride down! Just grab your tube and go for a ride.
The Blarney Room upstairs in the lodge offers light fare and a viewing area and the first floor of the lodge has an area to sit and eat picnic lunches. Need a birthday party idea? Cost per 90 minute session is $15.
Rules and Reminders
Children ages 2 to 10 years old are invited to use our toddler tubing area at $5 per 90 minute session. Children must be accompanied by an adult on the hill at all times. Persons in the toddler tubing area must sign a waiver even if they do not snow tube.
All children 6 and younger must be accompanied by a ticketed adult on the snow tubing hill at all times. Children 7-12 must be accompanied by an adult who remains on site at Snowy Owl for the entire duration of their trip. A person under the age of 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature on their waiver in order to snow tube.
Everyone, including children, must be able to stand on and ride the carpet lift with their tube by themselves. Everyone must be able to sit in a tube by themselves. Children cannot sit in an adult’s lap. We allow only one person per tube. You may only use equipment provided by Jiminy Peak Snow Tubing at Snowy Owl Resort.

Snow tubing involves risks and dangers. These may include but are not limited to collisions that are man made or natural, within lanes or other areas of snow tubing. Conditions vary due to weather conditions and snow tubing use. Tube within designated area; be aware of your surroundings while exiting the tubing area. You are responsible for your own safety and assume all responsibility for any risk of injury.
Jiminy Peak Snow Tubing at Snowy Owl Resort reserves the right to limit or cease operations due to adverse weather conditions. Toddler tubing is weather dependent. Please call ahead 413-443-4752 ext 213.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Operation begins mid-November and continues through the beginning of April, subject to weather conditions. Full-time operation begins after Thanksgiving based on snowmaking and weather. It’s a good idea to call the Jiminy Peak Snow Phone at 888-4-JIMINY or check online for the latest conditions at the online snow report center before traveling. Operating hours and the operating schedule are subject to change.

The new SKIWee/Explorers Center in the Burbank Building has its own rental shop for program participants, as does the GETSkiing and GETBoarding Center in Doc Maynard-so you can go right to your program without having to stand in a rental shop line!
Demo Skis and snowboards are available in the Mountain Sports shop in the Burbank Center: Atomic, K2, and Rossignol skis, and K2 and Rossignol snowboards. The cost is $40 for the day, which can be applied toward the purchase price, so try before you buy!
